Message from the SLA Head

Welcome to the School of Liberal Arts (SLA) at UNIST!

The School of Liberal Arts is an academic unit of scholars in the arts, humanities and social sciences, wholly engaged in the tasks of research and teaching which bring humanistic knowledge to the forefront of undergraduate education.

The school offers students a journey of discovery into liberal arts. Our focus on creativity and critical inquiry provide a foundation for the curriculum and mission of UNIST. Through the arts, humanities and social sciences, UNIST students learn to think critically and to better understand the impacts that their work will exert on the global society.

Our faculty consists of dedicated scholars and teachers whose research exceeds the boundaries of any single discipline and whose teaching prepares students for lifelong learning experiences. Through our long-term planning process, we take up the challenge of providing the pathway toward the success of young scientists and engineers in UNIST.
